The feel
The North End sits in the pocket between downtown and Knox Mountain, and it may be the most interesting bet in Kelowna right now. Character homes from the 1940s and 50s line quiet streets, the brewery district gives it a genuine local scene, and the waterfront rail-trail corridor connects it all on foot or bike.
This is also where much of Kelowna's future is being planned — the former mill lands on the north waterfront represent one of the largest redevelopment opportunities in the BC Interior. Buyers here are buying location and trajectory at the same time.

Stock is mostly character detached homes — many updated, some waiting for it — plus infill and small-scale multifamily arriving steadily. Rinks, courts & rec: The Kelowna Curling Club and Memorial Arena are minutes away, with City Park's public courts and beach volleyball just down the waterfront.
Library & facilities: The downtown branch of the Okanagan Regional Library, the Rotary Centre for the Arts, and Prospera Place are all walkable.
Shopping: The brewery district's tasting rooms and the full Bernard Avenue strip are your locals. Read the city's north-waterfront planning documents before you buy — the redevelopment trajectory is part of the value.
Schools & daycares: The area is served by School District 23 — verify exact catchments on their site — and licensed daycares and preschools operate throughout; search live availability on the BC child care map.
